Phuluso Thenga to record his debut album

A 29-year-old gospel singer from Ha-Mashau Thenga, Phuluso Thenga, is set to record his debut gospel album on 4 March at the Christian Worship Centre (CWC) in Thohoyandou.

In an interview with Limpopo Mirror, Thenga said that he had invited other gospel artists to attend the live DVD and CD recording. “Takkie and Rofhiwa, Elle Tisane and Thabelo Netshiunda will spice up the event,” he added. The album will comprise of 17 tracks which include Your Name is Jesus, The cross and U Khosi Ya Mahosi.

Thenga started singing at a tender age and he never looked back since then after being inspired by his aunt. “My aunt Maduvha Thenga taught me a lot of ministry and music. I grew up looking up to her,” he added.

He further said that the gospel fraternity should expect a soothing album. “The message in my music will transform many people,” he said.

The live recording is scheduled to start at 18:00. The ticket price is R120 and tickets are available at Shoprite and Computicket.
