Musina Municipality recognised for paying their debt

The Musina Municipality received recognition, for the second year in a row, from the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) for settling their Eskom historical debt. This occurred during the seventh Limpopo SALGA Awards held in Polokwane last Tuesday.

Makhadzi Vho Phophi Masiavhula Gumbo Nwendamutswu, a respected figure from Tshithuthuni village in Nzhelele, passed away on Monday, 18 March, at the remarkable age of 104 years. She was laid to rest on Friday, 22 March, at the Nwendamutswu royal graveyard (Tshiendeulu) in Tshixwadza village.

Frustrated Phiphidi community burn down pastor's shop

Kidnapped members of Khoja family safely back home

Pastor opts to rather take church to the place where people sin

For years, Pastor Godfrey Ndou has been observing revellers enjoying their beer at a local tavern in Shayandima. He would pass by, greet them, and invite them to come to his church, but only one or two would show up the following Sunday. After interacting with some, he discovered that they were hesitant to attend church for fear of being labelled as outcasts, and some cited a lack of suitable clothing as a barrier to attending.

Unregistered school in Mpheni may soon be closed

The school has allegedly been masquerading as a registered institution for at least two years, collecting money from parents while not offering accredited tuition.
