'Bully' expelled after threatening teachers

A learner from the John Marubini Primary School in Phiphidi village, just outside Thohoyandou, was expelled on Monday (24th) after he had allegedly threatened teachers and members of the School Governing Body (SGB). The learner apparently failed Grade 7 for the second time last year but insisted on being promoted to the next grade.

No bail for man accused of raping 11-year-old boy

A 30-year-old man from Tshitereke village appeared in the Thohoyandou Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 25 January, on two counts of rape, sexual assault, five counts of child abuse as well as one of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
