Moses Chabalala, who released a monster hit in 2009, is back with a bang and more determined to make it this time.

Chavalala, of Makhuvha village outside Thohoyandou, made a name for himself when he released a big hit album, Mr Hummer Volume 1. The artist is back full steam and has released another CD, Mr Hummer Volume 2.

The album promises fireworks and, judging by the response since its release last week, it is bound to take the artist to greater heights. “I have learnt a lesson; signing contracts that one does not know, can make one very poor. My album sold thousands of copies, but to tell the truth, I did not get a cent from the sales of the album. I have learnt the hard way, but I am determined to make it this time around,” he said.

He said the shortfalls did not discourage him from continuing composing more music. “Music is in my blood, with or without money. I just love spreading messages through my music, and I will continue doing so,” he added.

Chavalala said he also changed his music to Makhwaya, which  is doing the trick as it is becoming a fast seller. The album was recorded at JTK Productions in Thohoyandou and is available at most record shops around the country.
