Leopards’ new head coach, Mr Sello Chokoe.

Do you think Leopards can make it three in a row?

It remains to be seen whether Black Leopards will manage to prove the critics wrong and register their third victory in a row when they meet Cape Town All Stars at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town tomorrow (Saturday) afternoon.

According to Leopards’ new head coach, Mr Sello Chokoe, their aim is to win all five their remaining matches and finish their league programme with a bang. Lidoda Duvha won both matches they played under the guidance of Chokoe, who joined the Thohoyandou outfit last month.

The mood is good in the Stars camp after collecting three points against African Warriors away from home last weekend. (See the report on the back page). All Stars beat Leopards 2-0 in their first round league match at the Thohoyandou Stadium six months ago.

Vasco da Gama will play their second successive league match at home. They will host Witbank Spurs at the Parow Park Stadium. It is at the same venue where the unexpected happed last Saturday when Vasco overpowered the logleaders, Baroka FC, 3-1.

Spurs must win the match at all cost in order to remain in the league title race. Spurs lost 0-1 to Mbombela United last Saturday. Moroka Swallows will undertake a journey to the Kanyamazane Stadium, where they will try their luck against Mbobela United. Swallows are on track of late. They managed to hold one of the league title chasers, Highlandspark, to a 1-1 draw last Saturday.

Highlandspark will host Milano United at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa. Mthatha Bucks must beat FC Cape Town in order to move out of the relegation quagmire.

Sunday will see Santos take on Royal Eagles at the Athlone Stadium in Cape Town. African Warriors will travel to Durban, where they will play against Amazulu at the Princess Magogo Stadium.
