Tshifulanani to host important ABC match

The Tshifulanani Stadium is expected to be packed to capacity tomorrow afternoon for the ABC Motsepe League between Joe Maweja and Polokwane United. The mood is good is the Maweja camp after collecting a point away last weekend.

They shared the spoils with the stubborn Nkowankowa Barcelona at the Nkowankowa Stadium in Tzaneen. Polokwane United, too, are geared to kill after playing to a 2-2 draw with Great North FC last Saturday.

Maweja will pin their hopes on their top goal scorers, Walter Netshimbulu, Takalani “Sticker” Ramagalela and Zwivhuya Tshisaphungo for goals, while Mashudu Makhari and the team’s captain, Dakalo Ratshitanga, are expected to keep their danger area clean throughout the game.

Polokwane Academy will be lucky if they manage to hold The Dolphins to a draw when they meet in Polokwane. The Dolphins are one of the hot contestants for the league title and are currently lying in the second spot.

Lephalale Young Killers will be away to try their luck against the logleaders, Magezi FC, at the TT Cholo Stadium. Magezi are still fresh from a 2-0 victory against Boyne Young Tigers, while Young Killers beat Polokwane Academy by the same margin.

Great North FC will host Boyne Young Tigers at the Seshego Stadium.

Giyani Stadium will be a hive of activity tomorrow afternoon. A double header will be staged there. The first match will be between Giyani Hotspurs and Nkowankowa Barcelona  at 15:00, followed by the match between Gawula Classic and Mosesetjane All Stars.

Bilika All Stars will host A1 Terrors on Sunday, while Mighty FC will entertain Bellevue Winners Park at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
