Two away fixtures for Black Leopards

After playing their opening National First Division League match at home last Saturday, Black Leopards will play their next two matches away from home.

They will undertake a journey to Phuthaditshaba in the Free State, where they will lock horns with African Warriors at the Charles Mopedi Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Collecting the maximum points at the expense of African Warriors will not be an easy task for Leopards, considering the fact that Warriors are still fresh from a 3-2 victory over FC Cape Town.

Warriors must keep a close eye on Leopards’ killer strikers, Roggert Nyundu and Thembisani Nevhulamba, or else they will not know what has eaten them when the final whistle is blown. On the other hand, the Warriors’ goal poachers, Themba Dladla and Thamsanga Ngema, are sharpened to kill after scoring a goal each in their match against FC Cape Town last weekend.

Leopards will again travel to the Eastern Cape next week where they will play against the newly promoted Mthatha Bucks at the Mthatha Stadium on Saturday.

In other matches that will be played this weekend, Moroka Swallows will entertain FC Cape Town at the Dobsonville Stadium. Swallows must win the match in order to restore their pride after losing 0-2 to Cape Town All Stars last weekend. In their Kwazulu Natal derby at the Umhkathuze Sports Complex, Thanda Royal Zulu will host Amazulu. Milano United will play against Mthatha Bucks at the Blue Downs Stadium in Cape Town.

Witbank Spurs will host Highlandspark, while Vasco da Gama will have a date with Santos in their Cape Town derby at the Parow Park Stadium. Baroka FC and Mbombela United will play at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.
