Can Khubvi African Stars beat the Green Mambas?

Teams affiliated to the Mulindavhathu Soccer Challenge will play their final round-robin matches this weekend. All matches will be staged at the Khubvi Benjies grounds.

Tshilungwi FC and Luvhimbi Wanderers will play the opening match at 08:30 tomorrow. Wanderers will not take part in the knockout stage of the competition after losing their first two matches. They were beaten 1-4 by Makonde Young Tigers in their opening match two weeks ago. They again gave away points to Mudaswali United Brothers when they lost 1-3 last weekend.

Makwarani Frelimo Boys will test their strength against Khubvi African Stars soon afterwards. Frelimo Boys must win the match in order to secure a place in the knockouts.

Vhutalu Mountain Rangers will be lucky if they manage to overcome Mutale Vikings, with whom they will lock horns at 12:30. Mountain Rangers are still in shock after losing 0-1 in the final of the NJ Munyamela Soccer Challenge at the Muhuyu grounds last Sunday.

Damani Powerline will have a date with Sambandou United Professional later in the afternoon.

Sunday's matches are: Musasenda Big Five vs Khubvi Peace Makers (08:30), MT Green Mambas vs Khubvi African Stars (10:30), Domboni FC vs Khubvi Dangerous Darkies (12:30) and Mudaswali United vs Makonde Young Tigers (14:30).
