Soccer extravaganza at Giyani stadium

Giyani Stadium will be the place to be tomorrow afternoon. That is where the much-awaited ABC Motsepe League double header will be staged. The first match will be the battle of the Stars. Bilika All Stars will lock horns with Mosesetjane All Stars in the first match.

Sparks are expected to fly in the game as Bilika and Mosesetjane are not safe when it comes to relegation. Bilika’s performance was unimpressive in the past weeks and they dropped important points at home and away. On the other hand, Mosesetjane must go back to Mokopane with full points if they are serious about campaigning in the same division next season. The match will start at 15:00.

After the battle of the Stars, Giyani Hotspurs and Modimolle Aces will grind it out for league points. Aces will throw everything within their reach into the match as they will soon need a miracle to escape the chop at the end of the season.

An ABC match not to be missed will be between Great North FC and Bellevue Winners Park at the Seshego Stadium. They are two hot contenders for the league title. Great North are in the third spot, one position behind Bellevue.

Polokwane United and The Dolphins will meet at the Eldorado Stadium in their Polokwane derby. A quick glance at United’s performance in their recent matches shows that The Dolphins will register an easy victory. Dynamos will travel to Polokwane for their match against Mighty FC at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. Winners Park will host Joe Express at the Mahwelereng Stadium, while Lephalale Young Killers will take on Magezi FC at the Mogol Stadium in Lephalale.

In the final match of the weekend, A1 Terrors will play against Blue Rocks at the Ephraim Mohale Stadium in Modimolle.
