Bilika and Hotspurs in Giyani derby

Another busy weekend lies ahead for the teams affiliated to the Limpopo Stream of the ABC Motsepe League. Eight matches will be played throughout the province tomorrow afternoon.

The match of the week will be between the Giyani-based sides, Bilika All Stars and Giyani Hotspurs, at the Giyani Stadium. It will be time for Bilika All Stars to exact revenge for the 4-2 defeat they suffered at the hands of Hotspurs in their preliminary-round match for the Nedbank Cup competition four months ago. All Stars are in a winning mode after collecting the maximum points last weekend. They beat Modimolle Aces 2-0 in Aces' backyard. Hotspurs must win the match in order to remain a hot contender for the league championship.

Bellevue Winners Park are leaving no stone unturned in their preparations for their home match against Modimolle Aces at the Nkowankowa Stadium. Bellevue will be without their dribbling wizard, Velile “Mlungu” Mdaka, when they meet Aces. Mdaka was given his marching orders in their Nedbank Cup competition game against Vasco da Gama at the Giyani Stadium last Saturday.

Joe Express will undertake a journey to Giyani. They will lock horns with Dynamos at the Giyani Stadium. Both Dynamos and Joe Express collected full points in their matches last weekend.

The pace setters, Magezi FC, will meet Polokwane United at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium. The Dolphins FC will host A1 Terrors at the Eldorado Stadium.

Mighty FC will have a date with Lephalale Young Killers at the Seshego Stadium. Great North FC will entertain Winners Park at the TT Cholo Stadium in Polokwane.
