Dakalo “DK” Ratshitanga scored the third goal for Joe's Express.  

Mighty FC and Joe Express in a 3-3 draw

 

The struggle for promotion and to avoid relegation was on among the affiliates of the ABC Motsepe Soccer League last weekend.

It was a feast of goals when Joe's Express held Mighty FC to a thrilling 3-3 draw at the Seshego Stadium last Friday afternoon. Levy Matshavha of Joe Express scored a brace and the captain, Dakalo “DK” Ratshitanga, scored the third. Mighty FC responded through Lawrence Mohale, Steven Maseko and David Mokgale.

Great North beat Giyani Hotspurs 2-1 and in their Waterberg derby Modimolle on Sunday, A1 Terrors beat Modimolle Aces 1-0.

Lephalale Young Killers collected three important points without kicking the ball. They were supposed to have played against Blue Rocks in Lephalale, but the Rocks did not turn up for the match.

The only goal in the game was good enough to earn Magezi FC three points at the expense of Winners Park. The goal came in the 75th minute via Julius Ngwenya, who headed home after a corner kick.

Dynamos gave away points to The Dolphins after their 1-2 defeat. Bilika All Stars shared the spoils with Polokwane United, with whom they played to a 1-1 draw at the Giyani Stadium, while Mosesetjane All Stars were given a day to remember, following their 1-5 defeat at the hands of Bellevue Winners Park at the Nkowankowa Stadium.
