ABC Motsepe teams back in action

After a break of three weeks, the affiliates of the ABC Motsepe League will be back in action this weekend.

Mighty FC will be lucky if they manage to escape with a draw although they will be playing at home. They will host Joe’s Express at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane tomorrow afternoon. Mighty are still to win a league match this season.

Express have won three of the five matches they have played to date and doomed Polokwane United 3-0 before the Christmas recess. Mighty must keep a close eye on the Express strikers, Ndivhuwo “Segere” Ravhuhali, Thembisani Nevhulamba and Simon Atamhewani. Express must win the match in order to remain in contention for the league title.

Great North FC will host Giyani Hotspurs at the Seshego Stadium. The fact that both Great North and Giyani Hotspurs are close contenders for the league title is reason enough for the fans to expect a thriller.

A1 Terrors will take on Modimolle Aces in Modimolle and Lephalale Young Killers will host Blue Rocks. Winners Park and Magezi FC will meet at the Mahwelereng Stadium, while Dynamos will pay a visit to The Dolphins at the Polokwane Eldorado Stadium.

A match not to be missed will be between Bellevue Winners Park and Mosesetjane All Stars. All Stars have a score to settle with Bellevue. They lost 1-5 to them in the provincial final of the Nedbank Cup last month.
