Will Cosmos pay for Leopard’s defeat?

It remains to be seen whether Jomo Cosmos will pay for the 0-1 defeat which Black Leopards suffered at the hands of Lamontville Golden Arrows at the Thohoyandou Stadium last Saturday when they meet in their NFD encounter at the Makhulong Stadium in Thembisa on Sunday afternoon.

While Leopards will go for the kill, Cosmos must win the match for their fans, who left the same stadium with sore hearts last Saturday after their home team played to a goalless draw with Highlandspark.

Leopards’ overlapping right back, Marks Munyai, is likely to be in the starting line-up on Sunday after watching last Saturday’s game against Golden Arrows from the grandstand. Munyai’s combination with DR Congo international Dunga Munganga at the far back has always given the team’s defence a good shape.

This evening’s NFD fixtures are: Santos vs Maluti FET College (Athlone Stadium Cape Town) and Garankuwa United vs Highlandspark (Pilditch Stadium Pretoria). Tomorrow's fixtures are Lamontville Golden Arrows vs Milano United,  African Warriors vs FC Cape Town and Baroka FC vs Thanda Royal Zulu at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. The other matches on Sunday are Witbank Spurs vs Cape Town All Stars, while Vasco da Gama will host Royal Eagles. Will Cosmos pay for Leopard’s defeat?
