Excellence rewarded at Tshivhase Secondary

Top performing pupils at the Tshivhase Secondary School recently received a pat on the back when Chief Luvhavhai Tshivhase presented them with certificates and trophies for their efforts.

Last year, the school produced the best Grade 12 Limpopo pupil, Fulufhelani Mashapha.

This was during the school's second term's excellence awards that took place in conjunction with the Chief Luvhaivhai Academic Excellence Awards. To encourage and give hope to the learners, the school invited the best former learners to come and motivate them.

The chief, who is very passionate about education and is also a former pupil of the school, expressed his dissatisfaction about the way learners performed, saying it was the duty of the learners, parents and educators to see that the situation improved to keep the school's good name.

School principal Fhatuwani Maselesele thanked Tshivhase for the motivational speech he gave the school. "As a school we pride ourselves as one of the best and our fruits bear testimony here as you can see the type of students we are producing. We are going all out to see that we maintain the good results and we have extra classes to ensure that our learners remain focused," he said.
