The Dzuvha Foundation will hold a music concert in memory of the late vibrant gospel singer, Mpho Regalo, on Saturday.

According to Dakalo Gangashe, the Mpho Regalo Tribute Concert will be held at the Christ Worship House in Shayandima at 17:00.

Mpho Regalo tragically passed away on 14 May last year after he was involved in a fatal car accident. “Death stole a Limpopo gospel star and thought humankind would allow the permanent disappearance of such an incredible gift, not knowing that a life well lived continues to speak on, even beyond breath,” Gangashe said.

Mpho Regalo's music continues to inspire and comfort many people. Just before he passed away, awards of honour based on merit were awarded to the artist, following the release of the album  I am a winner. He received awards from FAME and INGOMA in the best song writer category, and at the Tshivenda Music Awards for best male gospel artist and song writer.

“Due to the vibrancy that this left us, Dzuvha Foundation has put together an attractive upcoming event to honour and remember Mpho Regalo,” Gangashe said.

Some artists who will perform include Lufuno Mathadi, Palesa Ravele, Thabelo Netshiunda, Lufuno Dagada, Vhaneiwa Heavenly Voices, Lufuno Buda, Thili Maumela, Saul Nephawe, Shakes Mbedzi, John Mbidza, Mpho Mutula, Ailwei Mudzuli, Mpho Mbau, Rofhiwa Manyaga and Takie Ndou.

Those interested in the concert can contact Gangashe on 082 591 4057.
