Numerous clerics attended the wedding of evangelist Azwidowi Harold Nenngwekhulu (28) of Thohoyandou on Saturday.

Nenngwekhulu and Miss Aluwani Mudau (25) of Maungani tied the knot during a colourful ceremony at the Christ Worship House Hall in Shayandima.

Nenngwekhulu is an associate pastor and miracle service pastor at Christ Worship Centre (CWC). He also heads the Jesus is the Answer Ministries, under the mentorship of Apostle William Madzinge of the CWC.

Among the guests at the wedding were the founder of CWC, Apostle William Madzinge, and the head of the Apostolic Faith Mission in the Soutpansberg region, Dr Mackson Maanzwane.

In his sermon, Apostle Madzinge called on all who want to enter into marriage to first submit themselves before God for them to be able to handle each other. Maanzwane told the couple not to break what God had put together.

About his marriage to Aluwani, who works at Venetia Mine, Nenngwekhulu said it was the fulfilment of a long-time dream. “We have been in courtship for eight years now. Even though she studied very far away while I was here, by the grace of God we managed to reach where we are today and we will always thank God for that."

Azwidowi and Aluwani descend the stage to receive their presents from the guests.
